Well if they are going to be workin in the tank alot of corals can cause reactions. Ive heard of a few who have gotten reactions from euphyllias, zoas, palys, almost everything. Especially if theres any chemical warefare. IMO dont let them put their hands in and stock it with anything you want...

Unless they put their hands in the tanks i dont think zoas or palys would be an issue.

Just took a look at the stand, the gap isn't horrible and with shims i think i can easily fix this. Im going to do the 3/4 ply and then use that corner trim to cover the edge. I think it will look good with the lip on the top, i have some left over and tested it out and i like how it looks...

Just took off the top, noticed that the 2x4 in the front is actually not level, chances are i probably bent the top when i was screwing it down. I don't remember it being this bad when i built it. Now i have to pretty much take this apart and redo it due to a small 1/16" problem.....frustrating.

What do you use to trim out the edge? Only reason i used that wood was because it was already finished. This is such a pain.

That's the problem, don't have much more room in my stand. I could probably fit maybe one reactor but two is going to be tight.

Thats what i thought too, but then i saw the brs tv episode on reactors and they say that you can do a mixture. Since its a mixture with 2/3rds carbon to gfo, the gfo wont have a chance to clump up or solidify since the particles of gfo barely touch in the mixture.

Ya they are usually pretty good, just checking if anyone actually does mix gfo and carbon in a single reactor to make sure it will work.
