My clowns are in a RBTA but it took months for them to go in. I tried the picture thing for a week and I didn't like it blocking the view of my tank, so I took it down. They hosted about a month later.... coulda been the picture.
The tanks go on sale regularly but they only do a size at a time from the manufacturer.
Like in December AO had 215's on sale. That's where Cmart, HarryK, and a couple other got them. And in October there was a huge sale on 178's (i think). Looks like they come around every couple of months. So...
This medication is used for the treatment of Cryptocaryon and ichthyophthirius. More commonly known as ich or "white spot" disease. The Ich Treatment is highly effective against most forms of the protozoan. 80% of the time after the first 24 hours the ich is visibly gone. It is important to keep...
My tank is 20x at night cause most of my pumps are off with only 1 staying on with over flows.
During the day it's all over the place. I have 6 Korallias of all different sizes and the returns. All on timers. Anywhere from 35x to 65x over.
I have 6 t5s going accross the top of my 58gallon which is 18" front to back. Since the 90 is the same depth I would go with the same thing.
It takes 2 ballasts driving 3 bulbs each.
But they make 48" 6 bulb fixtures. Maybe go with something like that inless you like wiring. The price...
Phyl, is it true that Torch Coral are a little harder to keep next to other Euphylillia sp. since they are pretty aggresive and pack a powerful sting? I remember hearing that. Actually I think that's why Bill doesn't have them in his LPS tank.
I really don't think the Korallia's were too much flow. I had 2 Korallia 1's in my 29gallon with Seahorses and they got around fine. Now I have 1 Korallia 1 in there and 1 Maxijet 600 and they're still fine. If they were getting blown around they may have already been stressed/unhealthy from the...
Wayne I will tell you that there are more than a few people on this site that run MRC skimmers as well as other MRC equipment.
I myself have an MRC calcium reactor and i'm looking to get an MRC skimmer when I'm ready to upgrade.
But i'm equally as sure that there are ETSS members that will...
Bob my leopard is the first to wake up but it's also the first to go to bed. He's only out for a few hours a day. Very odd. But I agree, very docile and really cool looking.
My yellow corris wrasse is awesome too. For a common, cheap wrasse .. he catches alot of attention. Easily the brightest...
If your anemone moves then I would be careful. I have 2 clams in with my RBTA but he stays put so I consider it safe. I've seen the RBTA touch the clam and the clam flexed but that's it. He didn't melt, recede, or die.
Good luck, I hope it works out.
Depending ... Some hammers/frogspawn are more powerful than others. They may not do anything when they touch or one maybe stronger and take the other out.
I know Blange3 had a couple frogs and hammers touching and he had no problem. But there is one hammer in his tank that is very aggresive and...
This may sound stupid but are the Nanos breaking the water surface... your fish maybe breathing heavy because there isn't enough oxygen in the tank. The water surface should be rippling. Not sure the Nanos would do that in a 30. I would put one Korallia 1 in the tank. And see if that's good. I...
It's the second race of the triple crown.
Kentucky Derby
The Preakness
Belmont Stakes.
The preakness is a little different from the other two because they open the infield and people party like woodstock in the middle of the track. It has a really long history going back to the actual...
