Thanks guys. It makes perfect sense. I had no idea though. I got a 150hqi and when I saw the ends were different I didn't even put that into consideration. I just though different sockets/ballast types had different bulbs. Thans for the answers.

How much flow is going through your sump. If it's a quicker flow, I'm not sure if that's going to help. If it's a slow flow then it's best to keep it there.
