Guys my tank is running aroung 86 degrees. Any idea how to lower it? I have turned the lights off and lowered the heat to 80 a few days ago. Do I really need a chiller or is there an easier way to drop the temp?

Disregard it seems to be only one eye. It is more than likely an injury. Since no other fish seem to have the similar problem. Hopefully th bugger will be a little more careful now. Probably not.... Oh well.

I just found out that it looks like my Hippo Tang has something that looks like pop eye. The looks larger than the other. Any body have any idea how to fix this? I did notice my PH was low. So I applied some 8.0 buffer to help the water. Will this pop eye spread..??? ???

You can keep your tang in the 56 with out to much problems. As long your tank population is not to large. Smaller the tank fish will start to fight for their little piece of area in the tank. Then you got upset fish and bang you got ick !! But keep in mind everyone likes a little tang in their...

Thanks everyone....... I was able to kill about 95 % of them I guess, at least the ones that I could see. I used liquid calcium and Joe's Juice, a painted them white........... The battle against the Mojanos will continue.

Other KALK is there another way to kill these things? Perhaps a fish that eats them?
