i have a minor cyano algae problem right now also. was wondering if it was due to over feeding. i feed two cubes of Hikari mysis, brine, or spirulina brine once a day. then some ocean nutrition flakes in the evening. plus a couple sheets of San Francisco Bay Brand Seaweed every other day or so...

similar to my stand, three 2x4's for each leg. sorry i never uploaded any pics, been kinds busy (and lazy).i built a platform at the bottom to keep my sump up of the floor, you might want to give that a thought. looks good though!!!

I had a bunch of calupera on my LR, I added a Yellow Eyed Kole Tang and he took care of it pretty quickly.

agreed! thats why i would built a platform for the legs to connect to, it would help disperse the weight, and get you sump up off the floor.

to me, the lakefront property is the most important thing. i'd live in a trailer if it was on a nice secluded lake.
