Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I am running out for a tradehow so I can't take the time to debug the whole thing for you, but I can say that you code for the FAN will not work as intended.
You are specifiying a forced FAN on and off, then want to also use temperature.
Go here and download Ken's great AC Software...
Thanks.... I am not much a birthday type of guy (unlike Pete who has Pete-fest for a week).... So it was just a nice quiet evening at home sipping a glass of wine and finishing the night with a Remy Martini Cognac night cap.

Vinegar is fine, it won't hurt it. You only really care about the round ball tip at the end. Dip the end in vinegar for 10 minutes, then use a soft toothbrush to clean to gently clean the ball end. Then recalibrate whatever it is attached to (Pinpoint controller, Aquacontroller, etc)
I guess I shouldn't complain then when my 1927 Dutch Colonial with window AC unit, 90 Gallon tank, 55 gallon sump and equipment, T5 lighting,7 computers, 3 Tv's only runs about $295.00/month
You can click the link about and it explains it. The doser uses a tubing set that has 2 input and 2 output lines. So the one pump can dose equal amounts of both. You could set the dial to dispense xxxML an hour and just let it run all the time, or in my case its hooked up to my AquaController 3...
This is the dosing pump I use to feed my 2 part solution. You can purchase a controller interface for another $30 so you have turn it off with an AC controller if you want even more control.

I will leave the CA reactor issue to the expert users, but I can tell you that Automated 2 part solutions are a hands off no brainer. They are reasonable and work well.
There are lots of ways getting CA and ALK into your system:
Manual 2 part dosing
Automated 2 part Dosing
Automated Kalk...
There is still a limited amount of Carbon and Phosban available that can be brought to the meeting. If you are interested, check here for details: http://www.njreefers.org/joomla/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=9370.0
PM me for an order.
If you belive it to be particulate instead of bubbles, then you might try a 100 Micron sock on the water entry to the sump. Get 2 or 3 and for the initial begginning, replace them ever 2 days (even if not overflowing).
That brown is pretty common in a container used for mixing water. Its mostly undisolved solids from the salt mixture. That why it is recommended to wash our the barell with some vinegar to get the calcium and undisolved parts out of it.
I cut it down here by wiping out the barrel with a towel...
You want the valve in the INPUT side of the reactor. That will be the hose that connects in the middle of the top plate.
Generally you will use about a cup of Phosban/GFO. You need to flush the reactor until it runs clear. Easiest way is to take the output end that you would normally put in the...

Generally it takes a LOT of MAG to bring a tank up to 1350-1450 level, but not much to keep it there.
I am a 2 part doser (No CA reactor) and I only have to add 20 OZ of MAG for every gallon of calcium that gets dosed (about 3 weeks worth)

This is the same magnesium you would use to keep you counts high. Calcium is hard to keep constant with lower MAG.
