You know Years ago when I had Xenia, I now remember that I would dose iodine, and there is pretty high flow where it is. I'm going to move it and see what happens. If not no big loss :)

So what is it with Xenia, all my coral are doing fine, LPS some SPS no problems at all with them. The Xenia just shriveled up after a week in the tank . I thought they were extremely hardy since they grow like weeds in most peoples tanks.

Just curious. I use Chemipure Elite, doesn't this work the same as carbon, basically it is carbon right, with other additives for removal of Phosphates, nitrates etc...?

Well installed the Remora it's used but in mint condition. I could use a little info and some suggestions from anyone who has or had one. Right now it's a little noisy, a hissing sound from the spray injector. The water is just at the level of the injector. So how does this work, does the foam...

I'm buying an AquaC Remora and I am wodering if the surface prefilter accessory is worth using. Does anyone know why the prefilter is only listed for Maxi Jet 1200, Mag Drive 3 and the Rio 1400, but not the Maxi Jet 900 ? Thanks RicH K
