I am buying this sump for my 29g, and he also has an Eheim 1048 with 158gph and a CA 1800 700 gph. I am planning on using CPR CS50 Overflow Box to feed the sum. Any opinions on these pumps, I believe the CA 1800 will be used for a skimmer. Heck at $15 a piece I guess I can't go wrong...

Mine isn't the pro, it has one flat reflector but does that really make a big difference. I guess the individual bent ones reflect the light in multiple directions.

Thanks, I have been tossing the idea around about the sump. What I believe I will need is an overflow box , since the tank is not drilled, to flow into a sump.

Well as I posted before my Cichlid tank got fried from a broken heater. So I just couldn't resist to setup a new tank. It started out going to be a FOWLR, but it's too hard to resist a reef tank. I tranfered some coral from my pico, and bought a few. So this it it. It is an eclipse hood, only...

I just went thru this myself andf all reccomended thw white vinegar. I just poured it in the tank and used a soft brisslte scrub brush.

Those clips look pretty cool . I'll have to try them, the suction cup sucks after a while. I use this one currently on my Pico seems to be very accurate, it reads about 1 degree off from my Ranco. I put the coral life in the same tank and it read 74.7 and the Tom aquarium read 77.8...

Is it me or is this thermometer somewhat inaccurate. What is everybody else using ??
