I didn't read anthing in this thread yet but from phil's post I could recommend cyclops which are like the same thing and come in little cubes.
hope i'm close to the conversation
I was at Herbie's house today and saw the fish in question, in person.
It's a monster!! Powerder Blue that's about 6 to 7 inches. Hopefully Dan's trap can work for it.
Congratulations Greg. That was a great picture. I didn't enter because I saw that when you emailed it in and figured it would be pointless to try and top that.
One of the best photos i've ever seen. It literally tells a story.lol.
I love this food!!!
I'm probably the biggest fan of Rods Food on the planet. I found it at Aquatic Obsessions and have been feeding pretty much only that. And for those of you that have seen my fish in person they are all fat and very colorful. The food literally feeds anything that eats in...
The picture actually makes it look like a big earth worm. But it did have some white. Not all the bristles but the ones closer to the head. Definitely wasn't eating coral though.
Its a reflection from the light off the water that shimmers in the tank. The light sorta moves with the ripples on the top of the water. I like it.
I have MH/T5combo on my Reef and i'm gonna do T5s on my Frag tank. MHs are definitely stronger and put out more par.
Depending on what kind of...
you could hook him with a fishing pole and a small hook. I've never done it but I heard it works.
Yesterday I reaquascaped and I took out my Desarjini Tang. I netted him after all the rock was out.
Jabis, how's your system. He's a really aggresive fish and that's why he's going. He should be a "last fish in" type of deal. He grows to about 15" so nothing under 180.
Thanks Tom. I think I'm good for now.
All i gotta do now is treat my fragtank w/interceptor while my main tank is without SPS completely for a minimum of 6 days. I'm gonna do 14 days just to be safe. Then i'm gonna QT and treat every single thing that goes in there.
All depends on your sump, budget, skimmer preference (insump or outofsump). Always get a skimmer that skims more than your tank. Like your tank is a 155 + sump volume... so you want a skimmer that does 250gallons or 300 gallons .. that would be ideal.
For in sump (still depending on the size of...
If anyone wants it let me know. It's sitting in a 10gallon along with a very large cleaner shrimp, a RBTA, my Desarjini :'(, and my Orange Sleeper Goby. All of which are going to be given to Will at Aquatic Obsessions.
My Desarjini and my Achilles fight too much and my Achilles isn't going...
I reaquascaped today :-\. And I had leftover rock that i wanted to get rid of so I took a picture of it while it laid on a piece of styrofoam. When I put the rock back in the rubbermaid, this thing was sitting there all slimy. This is the biggest one if ever seen in person.
