If it was just a couple of spots then chances are the parasites could have fallen off with scratching or just because the fish was moving alot. I've had ich on my tangs come and go in a day ... i never worry though because they eat like pigs and I have neon gobys that clean them all the time.

T5... The Compacts can't get anywhere near the t5s in output and color. My biocube 29 has the CF and they are horrible. They don't make anything in the tank look good. I would love to get a nicer bulb in there once i get some spending cash.

Don't think it quit worked that way but yes it's possible that your fish went to the cleaner shrimp. My 3 tangs got to my 2 neon gobys and get cleaned daily (because my cleaner shrimp is a lazy punk) they haven't had a spot in forever.
