Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Good Ideas, I will make a Large frag shelf out of egg crate and mount it temporary on the front glass of my display and group the frags for sale, kidd redds, dragon eyes and so on, should fit 50+ at a time. Then take pics and post. Should be done by Monday, give things time to settle down...
Dug out the links on Local stuff from 2006 and 2007 They have some good info and also further helpful links. Not Much on the water, but more about collecting.

I have over 200 common frags for sale and not sure how to do this. The frags are zoaes and softy's and are fully grown out, many are intruding on other plugs. I am not to sure how to offer them for sale. I have not shipped and and not prepared to try that at this point.
How do I offer each frag...
Seeing that I seemed to have sparked this Discussion with a very simple observation and theory on the mortality of Local collected Trops, thank you for the feedback, it was very informative and seems to have confermed what was suspected! I will now go back and sit at the little kids table and be...
Due to the economy I had to take a job out of my Field followed by a drop in income.
At that time, besides my Main Display tank I had 6 others. Because of the costs, mainly Electricity, I have settled down to two tanks. I do like the idea of using timers to closely regulate the photo period and...
At a club meeting at Jenk aquarium that spoke on the topic and advocated exchanging live rocks from different reef tanks as a way to keep the bacterial diversity.
Garfs site advocates their Grunge product which sounds like sand and debris from the bottom of a LR holding tank.
You can always use a product like Phosguard. A simple mesh bag in a high flow area in your sump should do it. If you have phosphates it should remove them, if not, it will not harm anything. just a suggestion.

im Impressed!
I have abouit a million questions but I would rather cull them down and at a better time, but, what do you think about the bactereal theary? did you treat the wild caughts for parasites? The youing are planktonic feeders how did you overcome that? How did you isolate the youing so...
I was looking forward to adopting the leather, but if you enjoy it, I would rather you keep it any way. When your down by Manasqaun give me a call so I can show off mt tanks!

Again, the stem frags which you likely have seem to grow at a much slower rate.
Also the clean tank is a factor, seeing I have Softy and Zoa dominated tanks, I do a feeding twice a week of a combo of Frozen Coral Food, Freeze Dried Plankton and Reef Plus supplement. Starts off as a cloud of...
Striped Bass Bliz last sunday on the beach in Sea Girt. Bunkers moved in between the jettys, a massive school, bass averaged 30-40 lb each. I saw at least 25 fish taken, I was working so missed out.

I think I have it, actually a 1/2 dozen in my frag tank.
A Toadstool frag, possibly taken from the stem part not the cap. Frags tacking from the cap will grow much faster and form the standard toad stool shape much faster then frags taken from the stem!

Been 21 days since the start of treatments and I can be safe to say that that the original problems has been eliminated and the Zoas treated have fully recovered and are growing at a healthy rate! It Works. Pretty sure it was zoo pox, could...
