What kind of stand is it.. I had my tank just from 10 years of salt water blow out at the corners. I had to get metal corner brackets and attach them all round just to stop the stand from crumbling under the weight of the tank.
I am sure it won't help matters that is for sure..
I made sure...
You can go right over to the Pet Shanty and pick up and 1 of the 4 or 5 varieties they have in bottles for 5 cents cheaper then online.. heh.. no shipping of course. He does not have any in stock atm, but will have them either on Wednesday or Friday this week. Just an FYI
it all depends on the tank you get.. There is going to have to be some modification on there for you.. In a tank that small you might not even need the loc-line.. I would get the pump first set up a fresh water leak test and put in the pump.. see how it does and go from there..
Usually on the...
Don't take it personally.. smaller tanks are a challenge for anyone. I believe the newer ones use 1/2 inch and you can see them here.. I know you said you were going to call your LFS, but I just want to put the links here for informational purposes.

I don't think that the 900 will be too bad. What I would do is get a loc-line and have it y's off to one output that basically points up towards the top to keep a nice water flow at the surface and then one pointing about at the middle to circulate the water. The price is only like 15 dollars...

Well, Not in my best judgment but if you are going to do it I think the items you have listed above are pretty good. Just make sure you do regular water changes and that you have your test kits. Use RO/DI water and really watch those parameters. The corals you have chosen like zoo's and...
I will check over at RC.. thanks for that information.. As for the nutrisea, the reason I posted it was because it got stellar reviews and was posted as a Spotlight product. You are able to buy what you need per the link on that site and how much you want...
What is your experience with reefing? Let's get that outta the way first. :) Welcome to NJRC! I can see you have some experience with fresh water, but have you ever done salt? I am not saying it can't be done, but if you are going to try to do a reef tank and NOT kill everything and have not...
Was out tonight and I happen to be pulled to the book store by my fiance. She of course was flipping through the bridal magazines. I was off looking at some reef magazines and came across these items. These items I am listing are really nice for nanos, but the places have some great items at...
The widening on the cube is dependent on if you have level issues in the back chambers, also depending on if you turn chamber 2 into a fuge with LRR, or chaeto. I would suggest filter floss in chamber 1 on top of some chemipure elite, and maybe a little LRR, or skip the LRR in chamber 1 and put...
With the stock lights you should be fine for those things. However, watch how much you actually put in the tank with livestock, fish, shrimp, etc... Want to keep your bio load minimal. Do yourself a favor and get into a regimen for water changes too. Maybe the 10th, 20th, and 30th of every...
