    Sand or Bare Bottom

Agree with everything that's been said so far.... Bare bottom is easier for cleaning and you don't have to worry about sand getting blown onto your corals. But I love leopard wrasses and jawfish so I keep the sand.

    rethinking lights

I have a PAR meter that I wouldn't mind lending out if people had a way to pick it up and return it to me. Rather not put it in the mail. I live in 07932. PM me if interested.

    LPS/SPS/Zoanthids /mushroom.

For some of the harder to QT fish, it might be worth getting them from a site that does the QTing for you and gives you a guarantee. Leopard wrasses are a good example since so many don't make it through shipping, let alone copper and prazi.

Just wondering how your order turned out. Hopefully you got the discount and the fish got to you OK with the disaster of last week. I had a couple coral orders that got delayed for 2 days by FedEx. Wound up left with a few bags of melted brown yuma goo. Just glad it wasn't fish! Also I was up...

    Large Monti Cap Colony 07932

Hello, I have a large monti cap colony (10” x 8” minimum) that I’m looking to relocate. It’s not the fanciest coral but is healthy and looks great at this size. Asking $80 or best offer. Pick up only. You’ll need to bring a plastic bin since it won’t fit in a 5 gallon bucket. Thanks.

    Need some help identifying algae

I was guessing cyano and hair algae also. BTW, doesn't adding NoPoX do the opposite of bringing up nutrients?

    Getting out of the hobby

Amazing deal! I have a RSR 450 and certainly paid more than that for the tank/stand alone, not to mention all the equipment and livestock. If you part out, I'd be interested in the livestock and the acrylic lid (need one for my own 450!)

Yeah, he normally does. I had a time where I ordered something a few days in advance for pickup on a Sunday. By Friday he was running a sale and I asked him if he could apply that to my order. It was no problem.

They don't sell fish through their website anymore. The reason they told me was because they were getting heat from their distributors and other stores for selling too cheap. Not sure if that's the case or not, but their new policy is that they don't post fish and won't even tell you the prices...

    purple tangs $150 08731

Crazy that purples are cheaper than yellows in a lot of places now. FWIW, Absolutely Fish still has yellows at $150. And last weekend Sea Level still had them at $100 and Ocean Gallery at $120. Get em before they hit LA pricing!

So what do traditional chiro educations say about evidence-based medicine? :) What's your take on chiropractors as PCPs?

COVID info FYI, prevention and treatments

Viruses are the cause of most sore throats and coughs. Adjustments don't cure viruses but time (and our immune system) generally does. Temporal correlation isn't causality.
