Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
The most recent snails that I bought locally were from Sea Level about a month ago. Just wanted a few astrea and others that I could throw into my frag tank. I've bought from Absolutely Fish in the past but I guess they don't have any now. A few months back I bought Mexican turbos and a couple...
Exactly. I pre-ordered one that should be coming shortly, but I'm actually contemplating whether I'll want to open it or not. My nitrates are likely always higher than the range (so I'd have to do the dilution step).
So I'd have to significantly increase my feeding from what I normally do for my fish is what you're saying? OK, I was hoping they could just get established like amphipods and copepods do. I know that the pods eat detritus and phyto, but I was hoping that mysis would survive on whatever food...
Just wondering if anyone has experience with getting mysid shrimp established in their tanks. I know that a couple of the LFS (Absolutely Fish and Sea Level) seem to have established populations in some of their tanks, though both have said that they just came in as hitchhikers. And they weren't...
Is there any way that one of the LFS could help you out by housing some of your corals? I've asked Warren at Sea Level to help me out a couple times... Or maybe a fellow reefer who has room in their system? I'd offer myself, but my DT is currently halfway through a fallow period and my frag tank...
There's about 15 medium-large rainbows on there right now, plus a 20-30 lb piece of Pukani that's showpiece sized. LFS has offered more than that in credit for the anemones alone, but these things are pretty deeply dug into that rock. I could break the rock up I suppose, but it would be a shame...
ACC is an established and well-respected business and I’m sure there was no shady intent or scam that was intended here. They deserve the benefit of the doubt in that regard.
However, I don’t think it’s right for a vendor to raffle off something that’s not in their possession unless those terms...
I'm up in Florham Park, 07932. I could pick up a 1Link, though not absolutely necessary as I can plug directly into the EB832. Do you have any of these? If so, send me some info via PM. Thanks!
Hello,
I'm looking to pick up one, possibly two Neptune WAV pumps. I figured I'd look here before buying online. If you have any to move, please let me know condition, how old, and asking price. Thank you!
Try to contact the guy in this thread:

I contacted him to pick up his AI controller a month ago, then realized later that it wouldn't work with my Hydra 52 HD or Hydra 64 HD so I wound up passing. He was offering it free to anyone who...
I went with 76 which is supposed to be the top of the temp range for them. I had a borbonius anthia in there as well too so I figured he'd appreciate the low temp as well. I read somewhere that the blue spots can survive but don't live as long if the tank temperature is too high.
I tried ich management for awhile including UV, Selcon, Beta-glucan, and garlic. When ich showed up, I tried Dr. G's antiparasitic caviar, Polylab Medic, and General Cure-soaked foods in the DT. And I pulled out the fish that I could catch and dipped in Ruby Reef Rally Pro before throwing them...
One of my favorite fish of all time... I've owned 2 in the past couple years. The first one I bought from Harry's Marine Life, which is the cheapest place I've ever found them in recent years. Much cheaper than any local place - I figure maybe because they're out in Cali where the bluespots are...
