I bought copepods at Absolutely Fish a couple years ago but haven't seen them since then - I was told their cultures crashed. They do still sell the live Tigger Pods. Some Petcos similarly have tigriopus copepods (though it's a different brand).
Sea Level Aquarium frequently has copepods that...
Sorry to hear about the tangs. A little surprised that they passed so quickly though in QT. Any chance there was something else going on with them besides ich?
Hello everyone, I spent the weekend doing a lot of work on my tank so I have a bunch of stuff to sell now. I have a bad habit of wanting to try different equipment and then changing my mind, so now I have a ton of stuff to get rid of! All prices are for pick up here in Florham Park (07932) - I'd...
Yeah, and while you're there, feel free to ask him about any fish you see. He has more fish than any store I've ever seen and will give you discount pricing in-store. Just give him a call before you head over - I think he's a one man operation so you just want to make sure he's there!
I would take this guy if he’s still available. My tank is fallow right now but I have a lot of detritus in my sand that’s raising nitrates and phosphates. I was even considering taking the sand out. Where in northern NJ are you by the way?
I'm currently doing the TTM protocol per the velvet protocol on Humblefish's website. I decided to do that as I've tried Copper Power for 30 days in the past. My fish would normally do fine for the first couple weeks in QT with Copper Power, but suddenly I would lose some around the 3rd week or...
Agree with all the points made above including getting a tiny aquacultured one if possible, but still may have to rehome it eventually. The wild-caught ones don't come in as small. Absolutely Fish (Clifton) had a whole bunch of aquacultured tiny ones for awhile.
Just made a run up to Salgado Aquatics today. He's got purple tangs at $100 and gem tangs at $375 right now. All sizes from small to large. Every time I go there, I walk out with more than I planned. He gives discounts in-store and normally has a few fish that he doesn't have listed online as...
