Definitely looks like ick. You'll need to catch all the fish and treat them in a QT. Fortunately it looks like you don't have too much rock to remove.

Better not to take them out of the sand. It freaks them out and stresses them further. They normally get more bold and on schedule within a few days.

Agree with all the points made above including getting a tiny aquacultured one if possible, but still may have to rehome it eventually. The wild-caught ones don't come in as small. Absolutely Fish (Clifton) had a whole bunch of aquacultured tiny ones for awhile.
