:o Hold on, let me wipe the drool of my mouth before I say something :o
GORGEOUS! Absolutely incredible.
I'm actually speechless .... and envious. :-[

Thank you, pnoyreefer. :)
Been playing with the camera again this morning, here are the results. I think I got the hang of the cropping and resizing, but I still wish I had better equipment. :-[

It's been ages since I updated, and yes, I have new additions. :)
Here are some pictures:
10 days ago I attempted my first "fragging" with a mushroom that had grown to about 2.5". Now I have 3 of them. ;D

Thanks, Tom. So, do you want to trade cameras then? ;D Just kidding. I wish I had your camera! Just gotta play around with it, you have the far better equipment, you know. ;)

Thanks, Phyl. :) I'll try that with the cropping. It's much easier taking pictures of my flowers because they hold still LOL.
C'mon girl, my tank wasn't empty when you saw it, it was actually full. Full of algae. ;D I remember you telling me I needed "a couple more snails". Yep - only a couple...
Awesome tip. Thanks a million, Merv. ;D I'll try that - once I find more batteries to take more pictures. :)
I can't believe "cropping" didn't dawn on me when I was fiddling with the software. Another "a duh" moment for me, I guess. :-[

Hi everyone,
I've been playing with my camera, trying to learn how to take decent pictures of my little underwater world.
Here's what I've come up with so far:
Frogspawns & Hammer
Here fishy fishy fishy:
My spotted Cole Tang - trying to hide, of course. :)
Thanks for looking. :)

Thank you, Mike. :)
I have an update on my mom, too. Her insurance is kicking her out of the hospital, but has agreed to pay for rehabilitation. Right now she's scheduled to go to a rehab clinic on Tuesday. I don't know for how long.
It appears I ticked off the only sister that was keeping me...
Thank you, John. Oh yes, I am VERY, very happy with my tank. I'm absolutely loving it. But I am afraid I'm spending WAYYYYYY too much time in front of it. :-[ It's not like I'm addicted or anything. :-X

Today Tom and I took a roadtrip to Marlton, so that I could finally see ILC from the insides. Remember, I was down there on Easter, but they were closed.
I had some cash on me from selling one of my spiders on Saturday, and it was a "pricier" tarantula, too. ;) Wellll - I learned the first...
Candi, the less texture, the easier it'll be because you can just go to town with the paintbrush and the gel. ;D Please let me know if you need help, I'd be happy to show you (on something other than the door though 'cause if you guys don't like it, I don't want your hubby on my butt. :o)

Thank you, Phyl. Please excuse the color of the walls. I personally love it, but my husband isn't too crazy about it. I've painted them that color 6 years ago, and then I found out last year that I was partially color blind (red tones). :o

Ok, so I lied. It's not called crown molding, but chair rail. :-[
Here are some pictures:
I didn't do it the "right" way though. What I did was painted the chair rail in a beige tone (flat paint) first. Then I bought stain gel and applied it with a bristle brush until I reached the desired...
Candi, I've done it. Let me take a picture and post it for you. They are not shutters, but crown molding. We bought the plastic type of molding for our bedroom, so staining was out of the question. Since I really wanted the "wooden" look I gave it a shot.
....to be continued once I take a...
LOL, yep, I know better now than to keep my mouth on the hose for too long.
The rock that has some of the bubble algae is located in a spot where it'll be a major PITA to remove it, so I think I'll try the scraping with the syphon on.
Thanks so much, Jon. :)

Now that my hair algae is finally under control (or so it seems....it is getting better on a daily basis though), I noticed a tiny spot of Cyano today and I have 3 spots where there is a little bit of bubble algae. :(
I immediately sucked up the Cyano (not by mouth, by syphon), but the bubble...
Tom, I'm not sure whether it was a blessing or a mistake to come over yesterday and gaze at your gorgeous tanks. My "want" list increased dramatically, you know. ;)
Your pictures are great, but seeing your tanks in their entire glory is simply amazing. ;D
