Here is mine the white tank is rodi water the bottom right brute can is new saltwater and the left brute can is old saltwater. I change 2 gallons a day with my DOS.

You can dose nitrates and phosphates to bring them up. It's to easy nowadays to have zero nitrates and phosphates. I don't run any gfo and feed my tank 5 times a day and phosphates are almost 0 and nitrates are usually around 1.

You could pick up an ink bird heater controller for like $30. For the heater that turns off when the controller turns on if the heater has a internal thermostat you might have to turn it up a little. Because the heater might be turning itself off before the controller tells it to turn off.

You should pick a salt that matches the parameters that you want to keep. I use regular IO I like alk around 8 and calcium between 400 and 450 and magnesium in the 1300. My tank is sps dominated.
