Ask how old it is how long it's been sitting without water. Check the silicone for bubbles and not peeling off the glass. You'll pretty much know by looking at the tank if it was taking care of.

Just went back and looked at some of the tale of the tanks you guys had some very nice setups.

Mine was growing pretty good then my tank started eating up alk and it took me 2 week to get it stable again. It didnt handle the alk swing and lost color at the base. Its starting to color up again tho.

I want to setup my extra dos to do automatic water changes. I want to mix up about 30 gallons and have it do 1 or 2 gallons a day. For the the people doing it do you keep your mix heated and circulated or just circulated. Also are you doing them over a couple days or weeks. Thanks

I would test before because depending on how big your system is and how big of a water change your doing your parameters won't change much.
