If your Tek light is like my ATI light those won't work. They are alot bigger then the ATI ones I have the german end caps on my DIY set up and they are like the size of your palm. The ATI ones are like the ones in this picture.ATI T5 Sockets
Apogee's MQ-510 PAR meter is $495 plus the sensor rod is another $59 thats $545. I think for $50 and you get to keep it for like a week is not bad for something thats cost $545. I don't know what other places charge to rent it but it's probably not 50 bucks for a week.
I almost pulled the trigger on the 4 inch one and two sock shut offs cuz I have three 4 inch socks in my sump. But I was doing some research and saw that you need an inch and a half of clearance for the water level to rise to engaged mechanism to roll the sock up. In my Sump that's pretty close...
I was in there the day after the ac went they lost alot most everything it sucked. They have the biggest selection of coral of all the local places. Most of everything is pretty large pieces which is cool. Not just a bunch of frags
I have the 39 sapphire sump on my 225 it's nice sump. I don't know of any local places that sell it but they usually have a 10 or 15% off sale for Labor Day. I got mine from Marine Depot they had the best price.
You could probably wait a couple days but I don't think it makes that much of difference. Unless you did like a big 50 percent water change. A normal 5 to 25 percent water won't change your numbers much.
I've had both trigger system sumps and diy sumps. I prefer trigger systems sumps they look nice and have alot a features like adjustable water level, multiple filter socks and they run pretty quiet.
