    Biopellets

Just get the insert, and add it to the dual reactor, to see if you like it. I had a single BRS reactor I was using for GFO, and since it was suggested that you remove the GFO when starting biopellets, I just bought the insert($10.00). You shouldn't start with the whole amount of biopellets, so I...

    DAS Aquariums

Do you mean DSA? (Deep Sea Aquatics) If so, they are the original Oceanic, and make an excellent tank. You'll have to go through a dealer though, they don't sell direct. I think THR is a dealer.

    Rodi system question

Maybe this will help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QKJbO4UBJw&feature=fvwrel There are a couple things that I do differently. I have my dual TDS meter connected to each side of the DI unit, so I can see the readings going into the DI and what is coming out of the DI. This lets me know that...

How many pellets to start with??

My 180 called for three cups of pellets, so assuming yours would be the same, I'd start with 1 cup, add another cup in a couple of weeks and the third cup after a few more. That will allow your system to adjust. Are you running and GFO? I would take the GFO off for a while.

Differences between high capacity GFO & regular

OK, my suggestion is to buy two individual reactors, and a MJ400 for the GAC(ROX 0.8) and a MJ600 for the GFO(HC).

Differences between high capacity GFO & regular

If you are running them in a dual reactor, you can still change them out separately, so it would a be your choice as far as which GFO. As far as the flow is concerned, you will need to adjust the flow to keep the GFO (whichever one you prefer) from clumping, usually a slow roll seen at the top...

Differences between high capacity GFO & regular

There's a couple of reasons here, if you are running a reactor. If you run both GFO and GAC in the same reactor, the GAC will need to be replaced more frequently than the GFO, so you would never get the full use out of the high capacity(and its added expense), or the GAC would become useless...
