Are you using any kind of water softener?

Small store, been around a long time, mostly budget grade dry goods, small amount of SW fish and coral. Only game in town if you live at the shore (south).

Unless you drive down to Ocean Aquarium in EHT, he's the only game in town. :apthy:

You should be able to feed it almost anything. I used to feed mine, scallops, shrimp and fish...ON A BAMBOO SKEWER. It would be fine with fish in a tank, but will definitely go after any of your crustacean's.

Echidna nebulosa's diet IS mainly crabs and shrimps in the wild.

I had a really nice Snowflake Eel once, that ate only the best shrimp money could buy, Blood, Skunk, Coral Banded, Peppermint, etc. :rolleyes:

I have a variety of shrimp in my tank, including: Skunk, Coral Banded, Blood and Peppermint. I also have a couple clams, and breeding clowns. I've never had a problem with them irritating the clams or with the clown fish eggs. Or, between each other for that matter.

Get a Hanna meter for PO4, chemical test kits are very unreliable and inacurate for that particular test.

I have a DSB, between 4 and 7 inches of sugar sized oolitic aragonite. I don't do anything to it, but I do have a couple of conch's. I do have enough water flow there that gives me some water flow, without creating a sand storm.

It could be either a light or nutrient issue. I have a tri color valida and a purple nana, that begin to turn brown, if they aren't getting enough light or my nutrients start to creep up.

I use both cuvettes, but I only use one for taking the reading(s). I make sure the one I start with is the same one I'm using for both C1 and C2. I use the other just to mix the reagent, and once I've taken the first reading, I empty the cuvette of the sample water and refill it from the one I...
