Wondering what the difference is between pods bought on ebay vs Algae Barn etc. is it the size? Seems that those on AB etc are sold by count 1000 or multiples- so I suppose they are adults, those on ebay are sold by container with approximate numbers- most being nymphs- is there any advantage...

I wonder if a 36" t5 is worth the price vs an led - I saw one on amazon for under 40

Thought I might up the lighting for the 40b, just to check out options, seems like T5's come in 24" and 48", not 30 or 36, unless I'm missing something

I know there are calculators for how much flow you should have for just about any size tank and what you have in the tank- anywhere from 6x- 40x- I just upped all my tanks- may even add more- what do you have for your tanks- with or without the sump added in

Looking into that- are all T5 lights/ fixtures the same- what is the retro kit you're talking about

I do have a 150/175w metal halide light- don't think I want to go in that direction- what about adding t5's to what I do have- or a led strip light

Don't have 400+ for lights in my budget- will go with what i got for now
