just wondering, did you allow for plywood when figuring out the dimensions for the frame- I'm thinking that the topper should be at least an inch more than the frame + plywood- so for a 4' tank, should the frame be 48"- 1.5 ( for 3/4 Ply ) or 48 and the topper be 48+ 1.5+ 1-2"- I figure for a 4'...

I'm going to have to look into this more- I googled a replacement fixture and came up with a 4' four light t5 light- granted it looks like a shop light for under $70 on amazon- looks like i'd be best off scrapping the T8 and building a hybrid or am I not getting something

I got clove polyps in the DT- this is in the sump- roots to nothing, and a lot of spirorbid worms, and some pineapple sponges

It looks like roots for a tree- no light in this part of the sump- should I get rid of it
