$1,300 tank/cabinet/sump/plumbing , two Kessil lights a360w tuna blue $200 each, Skimz monster sm201 protein skimmer $200, Kessil h80 tuna flora refugium light $ 80, return pump Sicce 5.0 $80 ( I have a brand new spare for $150). $2,000 for all
Got a price for the tank and equipment- way out of my league- also broke it down for lights, skimmers etc- I think I'll just tell him to join and post here- his tank does look nice though
After seeing @Salted 90g I want one- I saw this on a facebook group today- I'm still waiting on a price for the Red Sea 425xl 90 setup- but here's the fish- let me know if any of these or the corals are worth thinking about- Angels/ captive bred lemon peell $ 80, Flame back $80 Coral beauty...
I don't disagree about the sonar, but why does a fish that's just added to a tank swim back and forth, up and down against the glass- is their sonar off- or are they just trying to get out  :)
Welcome to the club. I also started out with the Evo- now I'm cycling my 3rd tank- a 28g cube- if any of your corals ever get too big, let me know, I'll gladly take them off your hands  :)
This sounds good in my head, but not sure what it would look like in real life. For a rimmed tank add a 4-6" black acrylic 'box' that fits into the inside of the rim where you'd normally put your cover- basically adding 4-6 or 8" to the top of your tank- no worries about heat or interfering with...
Thank god I didn't take you up on your offer to go "shopping'- I'd still be out lol- one reason I didn't go I had no money to spend- glad you had a good day. You can't spend just a few minutes with @brokereefer lol either, I could spend an entire day with you guys talking 'shop' The gsp is...
I'm sitting here sipping a glass and enjoying the view of the cube with the rock, making plans- were you able to spend your gift card? I wish I got a pic of your tank- so beautiful, now I want a 75 gal
Another design flaw ( as far as I'm concerned) the 2 pumps are rated @ 264gph and would be great if the size of the system was a bit larger- any thing added to inhibit the flow ( like adding any kind of media )and the return chamber runs low. So one would have to keep constant eye on it or go...
Decided against re doing the filtration- thought it would be too much trouble- turned out it might not have been- started filling the tank today and because I saw no holes to equalize the water pressure on both sides I kept adding water to the filter side not watching ( the panel is black )-...
I'm thinking about pulling the whole filter section out and re doing it- doubling the width- would give me a lot more room to work with, more filtration area and only take 3" of tank space away- won't effect lighting- I'm doing a 165w led- will just take an additional day before start up
