I find it funny that the neon goby is the first on the list, but I never see in lfs or when I do they are expensive- been looking for one/some for a while
Maybe I'm out of place, just a newbie, but I've met some of you and heard that you used to have great get togethers- now that most of us are vaxed and things are opening up- isn't it time that I get to meet more of you- maybe you don't want to lol- so I'll stay home- but I'm sure you all miss...
Even though it's the smallest hawk- most definitely not for a nano tank- yes it does look at me when I get near the tank and come to the top for feeding- I wouldn't put any snails or small hermits in the tank- or smaller fish- ate a sharknose goby and the only snails I have left are tiny ones
All are beautiful fish- Have had the firefish for 8 months- just hides most of the time ( it's in a 13 gal ) The midas and falco are in a 30gal are in a 30 ga- had both for 3 monthsl- have different plans for that tank- Firefish $30 or trade, Midas, $60 or trade, Falco $30 or trade- pics if...
Sometimes the obvious is lost on me- I put the big ball of cheato that was full of pods in my DT for a half hour- pods gone- either eaten or will be soon
I never thought much about them, other then that they were a sign of a healthy tank. Lately I've found that they are big with introducing new fish to a tank- especially picky eaters. Some only eat pods- mandarins, my rainford gobys, but the yellow watchman and the clown goby's haven't taken to...
I know it's a long ride but you could check with adam's pet Safari in Chester NJ 908-879-8998- also check out Rizzo's Wildlife Center – Flanders, NJ Rizzo's Wildlife World
The tailspot is getting along fine with the striped blenny, 2 chromis, pink damsel and rianford goby- I added a second rainford and so far the first chases the new guy for a bit each day, but otherwise leaves it alone in the 40b- I moved the tailspot from the 13g so I could add Springer damsels...
