Too bad, sorry. Many bash Petco, I think it's all about the store and how the tanks/ fish are kept. I've bought from the one in Ledgewood and have never had any issues/ problems with the fish- if I had a larger tank I might buy the filefish I saw there the other day ( it was small though)
Sometimes you have to rescue fish in your own tank(s). I had a single Springer damsel in my nano and thought it would be nice to add another or 2- being non aggressive and all- so I bought 2 and right away one of the new ones and the original beat up and I thought the 3rd was going to get killed...
Maybe not so funny/ interesting but my blennies won't let any snails get too close to their hole/cubby- grab them, carry them across the tanks and spit them out
I know we all have certain fish we want in our tanks and we visit local shops as often as we can- yes need to support them, but I realized that the fish I'm looking for aren't what most of you guys want- you got much bigger tanks lol. So I thought I'd start a thread with my wish list- If you...
Wondering. I used Reef Roids before and had a major phophate spike/ algae bloom, so I switched to Benepets- would switching back help with getting nitrates back up?
I'm at $40 right now- need to take another look and there are some that are out of stock right now- so my total could go up- my question is -When we do buy, I assume it will all be delivered to one address- how/where/when do we divvy it up- never did this before- TIA
I had vermetid snails on live rock in my 13 gal- removed what I could and bought a bumblebee snail and never saw another one- I added a bumblebee to my new 40b setup and never saw it again- I recently got a large 25+ head piece of trumpet and saw what looked like vermetids- I took it out to...
Blue zoo wants $ 40 each for neon gobies- KP has a mated pair for $40- it's all about the supplier- Kp collects their own in the Caribbean so their stock is limited- I usually buy from suppliers who aren't collectors/ divers- guess I'll just have to wait until they get other stuff in stock
A mated pair of neon gobies are back in stock- not much else for me right now- don't want to pay $40 for shipping for just 2 fish- anyone relatively close to me ( Chester ) want to combine and split shipping costs kpaquatics.com
