24 hours minimum with pump, airstone and heater. I do weekly changes and usually top off and add salt to my 55g barrel right after the water change. So in general I age it a week.

I'm not quite sure why people say that. ;D I'm actually quite good at hammers too! ;)

As long as you have been handling it so much, give it a quick iodine dip. Then put it somewhere with low to moderate flow, moderate light, nothing touching it and leave it alone. In a couple of days squirt some mysis near it after you have fed the rest of the tank and see if you get a feeding...

Sorry I was MIA, but we hosted 50 people for my father-in-laws 80th birthday. It was almost like we hosted a meeting. I spent a good part of the day explaining the tanks. ;D

He is definitely out and about to be seen, but he does look like a little fish in a big pond. ;D I haven't seen any cleaning activity yet, he hangs out around the seaweed clip a lot. He's pretty aggressive when it comes time to chase food.

Some quick updates. Added an EcoTech Marine MP40w and removed the 4 maxijets. I'm running lagoon mode at about 1/3 speed. Corals are doing great and I do see better but still gentle flow in many areas that needed more. I wish it was a bit quieter though. Maybe it's taking a bit longer to break...
