Regarding the price of lithing: initial cost of LEDs could be higher, but you don't have to replace lamps every year, so in couple years prices are about even, and then LEDs become the 'cheaper' option.

Petsmart background will not stick properly. How about spraying back with whatever coloer using can spray from HD ? I used blue-metallic - it reflects light better. After a while, your background will be covered in coraline and color of the backwall will not matter.
