I'm planning on ordering a Super Reef Octopus 3000 Internal skimmer for my 220fowlr w/ 40g sump. Does anyone in the club have one and would it suffice for a 220g with large fish, primarily large angels, tangs and b/f's. The skimmer is rated for up to 300g. thx Pete

Same here. I had a few juvi angels and added some coral. Everything went well for a while then one day they went on a coral binge! The only thing that wasn't touched were the mushrooms and a leather. That said, i know several people who've had queen and french angels (not adults) in reef tanks...

I first clean them out a bit in the sink to get rid of some of the gunk. then i turn them inside out and put on express wash and they come out like new. I use them right away.
