Wendy i had tusk and he use to chance my anthias and wrasses to the point that the anthias were afraid to come out to eat. Plus i noticed some of the crabs and snails dissapeared after i got him. I think tusks should be kept in fowlr tanks.

hows the reef devil performing after you fixed it?

is this skimmer very finicky and does it take a while to recover after feeding? I have a reef devil deluxe and tends to be very frustrating as it gets totally wiped out for hours after feeding or when i put my hands in the water.. I'm getting an Octopus extreme 250 in Janaury.

I would also look into the octopus extreme skimmers. A bit more pricey but the most bang for your buck.

Steve were you happy with the reef devil? not sure if i did or doing something wrong but ive been having problems with mine/ especially after i feed it takes a long time to recover. sorrym didnt mean to hijack this thread.

Harry same here...I went from a 120 to a 210 and originally thought it was overwhelming. Now i wish i would've gotten an eight foot tank like 300g. I love large angel fish and would love to have at least three or four .

the meter just stopped working!. well after running it for a while with the new batteries, the reading is now zero. I guess it had to recalibrate.

what is the highest number my TDS meter should read before changing my RO filters ? I just replaced the batteries on the meter and I'm getting a 15 reading on the output water. I guess its time to replace the catridges?

Just give your snails and crabs a shot to do their thing. My back glass use to be full of algae and after the snails its crystal clear. not even the rock have algae left and i onyl have about half the critter crew that you have . dont over feed and let nature do its thing, dont force it. it also...

Harry you must have the 75g sump behind the tank or in another room correct? i would love to use a 75g under my 210g tank but there is no way it fits .

are you adding anymore angels? a queen angel would look awesome in there.

anyone here know about DAS skimmers with needle wheeel tech? is it true they're susposed perform like a deltec but at half the price? a local shop was trying to convince me to get one . I'm still on the skimmer quest ..been leaning toward and Octo pro or extreme.
