what size tank are you running the 40 on ? Im was considering one for my 210. they also have a sump buddy 60 but it requires and external pump.

thats good to here. I'm thinking of buying one of the Octopus skimmers for my 210 fowlr( still debating on the (pro-250 or one of the extremes). Did your require any mods. ? I just hate having to do self mods after spending so much money on a skimmer.

you may want to wait on this skimmer a bit as ive read on RC and SWF.com that Coralvue is making some chnages on the volute of the pump . some have also said they're not pulling the air adverstied . you can email jason at PA or coral vue . they usually answer right away. please let me know if...

If you dont have have a QT big enough for all those fish then youre going to have to hypo the DT or treat with copper( just make sure to remove the LR and any inverts) ....and if you go the copper route you know this will have always have to be a fowlr tank. Just dont wait too long to take...

I use a MAG 18. Use to have a MAG 24 but it was too noisy plus released too much heat. The 18 is huge difference on the heat and nosie.

I would only get a queen if you plan on upgrading to a larger tank in the future.

Hi does anyone have a 40g or 55g tank i can borrow for a few weeks as several of my large fish are sick (i think its oodinium as three small anthias and a juvi emperor go wiped out overnight). I only have two 20g tanks and i thinks this is not enough room for eight medium to large fish...

are there any local lfs that sell reef janitor packages? I know they have them online but wanted to know if any LFSell sells them for a decent price. Absolutelty fish has them but are on the pricey side.

Spectra Pure has a new RO/DI unit that only has a 1:1 waste ratio....weve all been waiting for something like this right ! BUT IT COST $950!! OUCH...how many gallon/months would it take to make up the difference between the cost of your waste water and the $900 bucks! ???
