what size sump do you have for a g3? i have a 40g breeder with baffles and im afraid a skimmer this big wont fit

what size tank do you have ? i was thinking of getting a G3 or G4 for my 210.

the distance from the pump to the top is about six feet. the tank is a 210

Im running the mag in the sump.

I have mag24 on my 210 tank which i find a bit on the noisy side and my temp has also gone up a few degrees. this pump has a 1' outlet but i put a 1 to 3/4' reducer b/c the return bulkhead is 3/4'. could this be the reason for the noise and heat? I was thinking of putting 1' pipe about half way...

can you guys recommend a good in sump pump that doesnt give off a lot of h heat and noise ?

Merv you were correct. the skimmer started to foam yesterday and back to normal. I also slowed down the flow on the phosphate reactor a bit just in case it was too fast. now the phosban shoould only be tumbling in the top 1/2 inch , correct?

I just started to use a phosphate reactor on Wednesday and noticed my skimmer hasn't been pulling much the last few day. Is this just a coincidence or does phosban have effect on skimmer? ??? I've also been using a fliter socks so maybe thats affecting it also? Peter

whats is the best and safe thing to use to raise an in sump skimmer?. my water level is about 3' above the recomended level by the maker. i have an etss reef devil deluxe. I was also considering running it outside the sump. does the performance differ if you run it outside the sump?

I built my stand for my 210 with Sam's advise and it came out pretty good. it was also my first tank. I think the 4x4's in the attached site is definitely overkill and how would you connect the pipes into the bulksheads!

that's great...I'm moving all the fish to the new tank tomorrow!!finally :) BTW , thanks for the advise on how to rid the hair algae from the rocks . its all gone and the LR looks great in the new tank. oh , and the plumbing was perfect . once I confirm all my levels are good i will begin to...

does anyone in the club have a Sargassum trigger? can you keep them with other triggers and large Angel fish? I would actually prefer a crosshatch trigger but way too expensive for me right now!
