I am looking to purchase some Chaeto with a healthy population of pods. After a long battle with hair algae brought on by a nutrient crash I am finally seeing some improvements. I don't see any pods at all so I think I need to reintroduce some. Hopefully this is the missing piece to the puzzle...

I thought the point of the Apex was to centralize everything but it sounds like the majority recommends the ATO should be separate. Is there a way to use a stand alone but still tie it into the leak alarm so it shuts down if needed?
