240 gallon tank start up (picture intensive)

Sam, David and Dan decided we were not going to move a dirty tank into the house, so we got out the razor blades and went to work. Finally, we went in to eat and David finished it up. And we did save him pizza. ;D And BTW, who are all the beer drinkers in NJRC, we bought a case+ of beer and...

240 gallon tank start up (picture intensive)

Can't forget Sunny. She took over the camera for awhile and it was very interesting to look at the move through the eyes of a 3 year old. I probably have over 50 pictures of feet. ;D Bob finally made sure he was in the way of the lens. Not too bad for a three year old.

Now to move it into our house. Cleaning the tank before bringing it in. ;D Thanks David. We all went in to eat and David stayed out for awhile and scraped and cleaned. ;) Thanks guys for making this happen. Now to find the time to put it all together. ;D

240 gallon tank start up (picture intensive)

Well here are the pictures of my tank move. I think we picked the most humid day in the year to do this. :o Picking up from Sam's house. Sam had made these really neat pallets on wheels for when he moved the tank to his house. They totally make the job look easy to do. ;D You will see many...

Purging my tank of Tulip Anemones

You are more than welcome to come and get some. Unfortunately they are starting to come back in some areas, no where near what they were, but still disappointing to say the least after all the hard work we did. I live in Bridgewater, where are you? Erna

    Rose Bubble Tip Anemone

They will "walk" around until they find a spot to call home. Generally, they prefer to be in an area of moderate current, though not in a strong direct current. Make sure that they are not near any powerheads. Good luck, they are beautiful! Erna

About all I know is that Italy beat Spain on Sunday, in what sounded like a game where you could watch the last 3 minutes and see all you needed to see. ::)

    Mangroves

Rich, I could never imagine you confused. ;) :P But, I would also like to know....Do you attribute that to the salt or the Mangroves? I have always battled nitrates and would like to know the answer to this one. Erna

    Fish tail/fins

It is a Blue Tang, if it is the one I am thinking of. I saw it today, it didn't look too bad and unless it gets beat up again, they should grow back. Just make sure you soak the food in garlic. :D
