Actually I went on vacation for 9 days and had no one to take care of the tank, with all the storms and power outages I wanted to make sure I had a backup of some pieces to come back to.
Luckly I came back and hte tank was just as I left it.

I am upgrading from an aquacontrller 3 and I think this new one is not as intuitive as the previous one.
It took me 5 hours to configure it the same way I had the other one.

I just got a reef fanatic solenoid valve for my calcium reactor and it does not fully cut the supply of co2 to the reactor
The valve came with no instructions, does anyone know if the valve has a break in period, or something needs to be done to them before usage?

I built a container made of acrylic, to fit exactly on the rails of the sump. Instead of an ATO I put an nptf connector at the bottom and connected it to a float valve with standard tubbing.
It is pretty much fail proof that way
It really depends what else you have in the tank and if you are running enough carbon to absorb the toxins.
