I am now passing the effluent of the calcuim reactor through more media to increase its PH on the way out. It seems to be helping just a little by raising PH by half a point.
I measured mag and it was 1350. Is there an equation somwere that relates MAG alk and PH?

I have been wanting something to clarify the water for a while.
I been reading the pros and cons and I am still on the fence. I really would like to get an ozone generator but the fact that the effluent and the air have to be run through carbon to keep it safe is kind of scary if I ever forget...
The complaint I get the most is how much time it takes for this hobby. to hawkeyes point If my reef wasnt mixed I would have to spend way less time on it
So here is an update on the sump
I have connected 3 reactors ( phosban,carbon and purigen) Installed them inside the sump and all of them have quick disconects for easy cleanup
