Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Sure. We have PO4 and NO3 colorimeters. We have an old silicates test but I don't know if it is still good or how accurate it is. Your best bet is going to be to send it away and have it tested.
Is that pressure treated animal/child safe? My "OMG that's treated with formaldahyde" trigger went off, but I realize that probably isn't really the case anymore.
We're going to have Spiral Ham, a couple of three foot subs and Chicken fingers/nuggets/taters for the kids.
Looks like we've got beer, dessert & apps pretty well covered by those already listed. We could use some covered dish type items, sodas, water and juice for those who haven't yet decided...
I had to google it! I had no idea what it was!
Will there be any other "big" names? Seems like there are a lot of minor artists but not many headliners...
There's almost always someone with frags for sale and there will be raffles (and the newbies always win).
There are several threads in the FS forum for pickup at the meeting and another thread in the announcements forum with frags for sale.

I can tell you that there is no answer. Do a search for salt on here and you'll get a plethora of "This is the best salt" followed by "I hated it for X, Y and Z reasons". What you'll find is that different salts work for different people and if you're content with the salt you're using now then...
I ran my 65 with some hardy softies and no skimmer for years. You COULD do just the sump and the tank. I wouldn't get rid of the sump though. Then you have to worry about topping off directly to the tank, etc.
Very nice clutch of eggs there! There's a clownfish breeding book (Joyce someone or other) that's supposed to be pretty good. The jist of it is start a rotifer culture and keep it happy. Then scoop the fish out when they hatch (usually just after lights out, but a flashlight will attract them so...
I'd be inclined to start off with just removing the PO4 reactor and skimmer. See how things fare. Your fish, probably more than the corals will benefit from the added oxygenation created by using the sump.
