What would something like that sell for?
I sometimes I feel I have been too good on some rock from my tanks. I know Petco charges $29.99 for something smaller than a Nerf football.
Well, have those bacteria pellets in there. Staying on top of my filter sock swapping. And make sure flow is off for feeding time. And maintain my weekly water changes. Also skimming a little more wet to capture a bit more skimmate. Just wanna keep slowly reducing is all. Better growth would be...
No algae whatsoever...but very slow growth and no Coraline expansion whatsoever. (Who h is not all bad). Actually, usually cheato dies on me.this is the longest I have kept cheato. A month or 2 now. Slight growth of the clump.
Big sale just wrapped up with an 85,000 tank giveaway.
During the 15 minutes prior IM NUVO gave away dozens of tanks as to randon winners.
Nothing for me. Last order is getting picked today....BUT doubt it...
They eat the aiptasia waaaay quicker than you think. You need a huge supply!
I had a monster infestation when I started out in 2016.
I had hundreds at one point. And as soon as the numbers increased, the aiptasia disappeared.
I guess a good way to attack it is to have another huge tank with...
Had never had a Hanna tester for Nitrates and Phosphates.
Always used the API tests which said 0.25 phosphates and 0-10Nitrates.
Found out they were much higher when I got the Hanna.
phosphates 1.62 and Nitrates over 70.
So a month in, with less feeding, turning flow off during feeding, removal...
Couple people wrote asking...no tank damage.
Just me being stupid, again.
Disconnected some of my RODI connections to flush and test the USED RODI I listed. Actually spilled about 5 gallons of run off water in the basement before I got back down there. Whoops.
BUT the bad part was I shut off...

Set up your doser and as several people above stated and initially, do not fill your dosing containers up fully. Just enough for a couple days of use. This way, if you screw up, you don't dump the entire container.
Wow.
I am always jealous of the relationship the Petco had in Brick. Ours...not so much.
On a lighter note...Anyone need anemone or biota Tangs? JK
Happy Thanksgiving All!
