Yup, not a problem. Used to keep 34 hives for fun. With two daughters I've scaled back and got into reefing. It's much more expensive but I'm within one floor if needed. I'll never stop though, love to watch the bees.

Gotcha, go to the meeting. Was a member at raritan valley.....but too much politics for me. Do NOT get some package bees with crappy queens bred in TX or GA. To help the hobby, keep to stock that has proven to deal with our climate. If we all do this the gene pool only gets better.

A nuc is short for nucleus. Basically it's the heart of a hive. Normal hives (Langstroth) have two boxes with 9-10 frames in each box. A frame is literally a frame of comb paralleled to adjacent frames. Now a nuc is only 5 frames that contain just the essentials,; queen, brood, pollen, honey and...

Yup that me, bees had a surprisingly good winter. Of my mature hives lost one of the 7 and of the nucs I lost only 2 of the 10. Will start making my splits this April. Best time as the virgin queens emerge they mate with drones from survivor hives.

HUGE Coral and Equipment sale 08505

With what you want, get controllable. For my 120 I slowly obtained another 2 units and when I break down the 55, I will add 2 more. This way I can independently control lighting for each quarter of the tank independent of the others! They are really so much better. The technology is primitive...

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

Here is what I did: By doing this I added more live rock potential. If the detritus/phosphate police yell, well that's what a good old cleaning with a shop vac is for.

How is this going to clog? Your tubes do not allow light to penetrate, so no algae. If the overflow is a point of concern...make a cover I did and all the algae died. The overflow has teeth that will allow particles to not get past to cause a clog. If we are thinking snail are there not 2-3...

Paid for item with my correct address & seller shipped to wrong address What can I do

Contact the seller and explain the situation. Contact paypal too, I doubt they will close the case on the sole basis that FedEx said delivered with your complaint being it was shipped to the wrong address.
