    Dan's 150 Rebuild

If you get a pump booster you get greater consistent pressure which produces more water per hour. It also allows the membranes to last longer. I have a well with psi of 65-40. The pump made a huge difference.

    Natureef Denitrifier

Darren, how big is this chamber where water is treated. I've been to their website and can't find any pictures of this system, or dimensions. Can I bother you for a pic of yours. Want to know if this is a possible add on below my new DT should I choose this route?

    Zippys tank

So I actually hooked up an ATO unit today for the first time on my new tank. It's a tunze system and once I got it dialed in works great. I have no idea how I got this far in reefing without one. I guess the bi-daily top off to the sharpie mark became a routine. I also hooked up a bundle Magnus...

"If you want to upgrade your tank I want you to upgrade my front porch!"

You could use the roll foam they use on foundation sills to create a tight air seal. It comes in long rolls at HD or lowes.

    Zip’s 90 – ver.2.0

I would add more than a few small holes. You may want to slice some acrylic into thin pieces and create a dam/wall around top of sock with only one direction for water to flow toward the sump. Almost like a channel.

    Mp40s are loud

1/2" is much better! I cranked it up and was not getting the sound at 5/8. I measured the glass and got 5/8, followed manufacturer reccomendations. Why does 1/2 work better? Why would the manufacturer not rec. 1/2"? Thanks again Paul.

    Mp40s are loud

So with my new build I have 2 mp40 pumps to use on it. Got them set up and they are loud! Now I know form my mp10s I need to adjust to find a sweet spot. Yes, I found the same applies to the 40s but when I rev up past 50% the vibrational hum is unacceptable. I see the wet side disassembles for...

    Jgraz's march to 200DD

If you are growing macro in the refugium. I'd go with cfl,6000K. A lot of the red macro does not need near as much light as you think. Too much light can slow growth. JMO. Way to go on set up, that is one well though out plan. I really like it and I think the cut flat rock would be good for you...

Yeah, I did. The sell it in 40 lb lots. Make sure you choose double sided cuts (actually cheaper). Free shipping. This is just under 80 lbs in DT. The residual was my rock stand for my skimmer to get it to the proper height. I think it's like 113$. The have periodic sales of 10-15% off. Fast...
