I am not sure what we mean by "pack the GFO". I just poured it in. Then put the bottom cap on.
When I shake the filled container I can see/hear it move. SO I will say it is not packed, unlike carbon.
Yes, valve is on left. Maxijet is sucking fine..
I do not see the GFO tumble at all. I packed the carbon tight (filled the whole canister and screwed on the bottom with foam).
I filled GFO all the way up in the canister and left about an inch space on top. I could see empty space once I closed GFO canister.

Thanks Nick. I am thinking about putting the maxijet in the sump. However I need a U-push tubing fitting to run the tube out on a 90 degree angle.
If I do not use it then it will bend. Any ideas where I can get a U fitting?
OK I got the unit. I however am having a few issues here installing it. I have the dual unit and I got a maxijet 1200. I am new to maxijet as well.
I am assuming that one of the two white tubing that came with the dual unit will slide on top of the maxijet 1200 outlet line?
