Mods I have noticed for last two days that every time I come back to the site I am asked to re-login. I always click stay always connect/logged-in but that is not working anymore. I login, select stay always logged in and the close my browser. When I restart the browser, I am asked to login...

When you siphon the sand would it not deplete? I mean would you not suck the sand with water?

Yes I just did. I have 45 gallon ready to go. I use Tropic Marin Pro and the nitrates in the newly (24 hrs) mixed saltwater are almost 0 PPM.

I am all for internal pumps. It is just easy and clean. I have two mag 9 in my sump. These days the temp is at 76. In summers I run a 4 inch fan on the surface and the temp alwas stays around 78. Welcome and Good luck. Sunny

They are under T5 not MH. Either case, would turn them off.

No stirring of sand. Yes, moved a few rocks around. The test kit is good. I have salifert, red sea and API. They all are in sync for once ;D

How short is short? Like 20 - 30 minutes?

Ok so I changed all the bulbs in my light fixture and the tank has never looked better. All parameters are OK except that my nitrates are around 30PPM. It is confusing since I have not changed the food schedule, or anything else except changing the bulbs. I did a water change and nitrates...

SO my SPS have grown ;D to the point where I can not do a big water change without exposing some of them (blue milli and tri color acro). I always takeout some water from the sump and rest from the DT. However my nitrates are a little high and I was planning to do a 30% water change (45 gallon)...
