    Start Cycling???

Get live bacteria (Bio Spira or similar) and start the cycle. Make sure your temp is at 76 - 78 F and add two/three cheap fish. I would suggest green chromis instead of damsels. Damsels just do not die and they are a bully once the tank is established. Keep checking the water parameters every...

Adding a little sand to established Aquarium

I am planning to add 10lb sand to my 150 gallon tank that has been running for almost a year now. Do you think it is safe to do so? I mean would 10lb (or less) new live sand cause issues with ammonia/cycle etc?

    Enough light for SPS?

4.8 watt / gallon is way more than you need in a 10 gallon. It is only 12 inch deep and you would do just fine. However, smaller tanks are always a challenge to maintain since there is less room for error because small changes can cost you dearly.

how long after cycle before coral

The mushrooms are good starter coral. They are hardy and forgiving. If your tank is cycled and the parameters are OK, you can try the shrooms. I would wait a month or two though after the tank is cycled. Add a few fish first and then get the corals. Good luck.
