I have a 150 gallon which is 6 feet long. I have 2 Koralia 6 and 2 Koralia 4. I can tell you that the K4 and K3 are not adequate for 90 gallon tank. If you get a K5 or K6 and use that on let's say left...
The syringe is not full. I have salifert mag, calcium and pH kits as well. They seem to be fine.
I did not quite get the "small bottle" part. How do I use that?
Well I have heard a some hobbyist mention that they get wrong reading with these kits. I am specifically concerned about the Alkalinity TEST kit. I am getting vague readings. It reads my ALK at 10.8 while my API kit reads it as 8.
I am not saying that API is correct but it looks like it...
I got a coral from Trop on Saturday. I noticed it had bubble algae on it. I took it back the next day.
Some people say it is easy to scrape off. I just did not want to risk it.
I tried that. Some bubbles came of and quite a few did not. There were some on the coral tips as well. I am just paranoid I guess.
I am taking it back.
Well I also got a montipora from Trop this evening. I put the bag in my DT. While the bag was floating I saw something green on the coral. When I looked closely, ,, bubble algae. I then took the coral out in a bucket and noticed there were MANY green bubbles on the rock.

That is what I did now. I took all the algae out (whatever bubbles I could get). I do not see anything visible now.
Will check and see how it goes. I guess no one seconds the fact that it is too much light for the fuge...
