I have noticed that there is always more bad algae growth in my fuge and so far my DT is not affected. I have started seeing some bubble algae today. I run lights in the fuge with chaeto, opposite to the DT light hours.

How about using thoes long skewers we use for grilling shrimps?
They are long toothpic like skewers. I would break the pointy sharp edge and apply some super glue to it.
Making sure there is no dripping I would try to aim for the coral from the side.

I have the aquaticlife 72 inch. I am very happy with it so far. I also looked at the nova pro at the time, but there were some bad reviews on the sites for Nova pro so went with aquaticlife.
