I really do not want to loose this guy. He is a very nice looking fish. If I add him back again, I may not be able to take him out.
Heck, I have almost always taken the advice of the fellow reefers on this forum. Let me try to add him back tonight.
Well I bought this cute little guy from Dr. Jim on Saturday. I already have orange percula in the tank. I was told/read that the percula's could be mixed.
I was wrong. The little guy was being chased all over the place. I took him out and put him in my sump where is is doing fine.

Restricting the flow on a mag 18 will cause a lot of noise. Just remove the ball valve and let it flow freely, the noise should reduce.
Once you know that is the case, try a smaller pump with unrestricted flow.

I am not sure what it is. I have had it for a few months now.
I have started to see these little growth(s) all around the perimeter and some in the center. Is this coral dying or are these normal growths??

Ok let me rephrase. I am talking about the white stringy material almost like spider web in texture. This definitely comes out when the food goes in the tank.
Go figure. I am down with flu and have been watching my tank laying on the couch.
My yellow wrasse is constantly splashing water at the top of the tank and I was wondering why. After observing it carefully I figured, it was actually butting heads with its reflection in the glass. It is...
I have noticed lately that a few of my SPS corals slime a lot whenever I does calcium and/or alkalinty buffer (Bionic 2 part).
This is like a stringy white color slime. Is this a bad thing?
Thoughts?
