    water changes, cuprisorb and high quality carbon. lots of old timers will tell you that they treated their tanks with pennies and never pulled the rocks.

    very cool post! one of our pet shops does full copper treatment so sometimes the fish are washed out but you'd know if you talk to them!

    I'm on the hunt for a new tank. really open to see what's available but would really like 300 or 350 8' acrylic see through on both sides to split a room. 350+ would be better cause my wife would love to have a vlamingii tang. not in a rush.

    yeah just wondering cause it's only on fish and idk that seahorse are considered fish. I'm setting up a 75g coral qt so if like to stock it with something other than fish.

    i did a few water changes and yellow tang is feeling better. out of the rocks and started eating today. im setting up a 75 gallon coral qt tank over the next week so i'll have someplace to put him if his condition turns again.

    my smallest tang is the yellow belly hippo. the yellow tang is probably just a tad smaller than the powder blue, but they are different shapes. the tomini is the biggest but she is docile.

    my buddy is going to bring over a fish trap tomorrow and I'm going to vanish the damsels to the sump. see if he will come out after that. I've got yellow, blue, blue velvet and blue fin devils. thinking maybe they are just becoming very aggressive.

    I keep mine in buckets outside right now. I used to have an airstone heater and adding water as I use it but really it's like an algae. it's just been sitting there for weeks and it's green as hell

    just put them in a bucket with saltwater and shine a home Depot light on them, it'll stay alive and even grow
