I use kalk though a stirrer to supplement 2 part and keep ph up. Right now it’s 2 gallons a day. Easy and clean. When I was mixing it and dosing it was messy and the strength varied depending on how long it was in there. I had to sir manually daily. Stirrer wins in my book.

@diana a How high did your alk go? It must have been really high. When I had my 2 part incident, I got as high as 17dkh without losses. I realized within a few hours, and was able to get it down to 12ish I think before I left it alone to fall naturally. Could there have been something else...
