If you estimate 8lbs per gallon, plus ur rock, tank, equipment, etc you can get your weight. I would brace it in the basement regardless, but not going across the joists will require it I think. You may want to talk to a contractor if you’re comfortable doing it.

I think I may have the dinos, not sure. I already run an oxydator anyway, so I’m not afraid of h202 in the tank. I started dosing 1ml/gal h202 yesterday. I ordered a microscope from amazon to try and confirm. @Steven Simon was in same position recently. He ran h202 and lights out and...

Nice pieces guys. I got a bunch of large palys, some rfa’s, Ugly step brother Duncan’s, green and blue blastos, and a torch. A pics of some below... The orange with yellow tentacles in the sand, the pinwheel with mint green on right and the green on green on the left are new.

Don’t worry about the cucumbers... sometimes mine disappears for days, sometimes it stays in one place for days. It does what it wants when it wants. I think when they find something to, they stay put.

Bumpupity....

It was a really cool day, got to hang out and help out with some great people. I had a blast! I got a few nice things at great prices...but I wasn’t looking for anything new, just really nice examples of specific, common in the hobby, corals.

I haven’t had those issues, but I can see how they could happen. The only time I get salt on the cover is if I don’t wipe up any water after maintenance. Even then, unless I’m shoulder deep in the tank it’s not much water up there. I don’t know about the gas exchange in a normal situation...

my reef has a glass cover...

I think the h202 would be good insurance then.

There are tons of options. My tank is 60x24x26, I’m running two AP700 mounted in an aquatic life 60” hybrid fixture with 4 T5 bulbs.
