my fixture came with coralife 150 watt 10k bulbs. I like them but Ive have not seen too many other bulbs. the 10k seems to have the best light to me but since I need new ones soon does anyone have a different preference and why?
I've been using super glue gel. works good. Have to rub a little on the surface first. it gets a covering on it when placed in water so you have to work it in to place. just a soft rub. nothing that would disturb or knock anything over.
This could take some getting used to but try keeping a record hanging up next to your tank writing down what you do and when you do it. look at it before you do any thing and after you have done something. go thru a check list before you leave the room.

I now have 1g and 2g my wife got them as stocking stuffers two for 35 at costco I plan to use 2g when I'm away from home. thanks for the info guys your the best.
actually the center tank is reef two ends are cichlid tanks I want to change right side to salt 120 gal and leave (for now the 90 gal. cause I love those fish.
I finally got around to testing the recommendations for testing water. I ran the water directly into a glass and the reading is 002 that makes me feel so much better and thanks for the help from all.
